Our totes are made of certified organic fiber using a natural system of farming which prohibits the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers and relies on crop rotation, crop residues, animal manures, compost, nitrogen-fixing legume crops, mechanical cultivation, and botanical or biological controls which have minimal adverse effects on human and animal health and the environment. Before a crop can be certified organic, a transition period of three years without pesticide use is required.
The cotton canvas fabric in our earth friendly organic totes is woven especially for us, and is processed, packaged, transported and stored to prevent contamination from other fibers and from synthetic pesticides, prohibited defoliants and/or desiccants.

Most of our totes are available in top quality certified organic canvas cloth, with coordinating handles made of organic webbing. Select products in the perfect style and size for your business: a cloth grocery bag with your food store logo in either a small or large size; a customized 3-panel shopping bag for electronic accessories; a handy promotional barrel bag to use as a giveaway to your clients if you're an exercise coach or yoga teacher. Our color choice in organic materials includes over a dozen hues, including natural and white. The color choice varies by style, but includes rich colors such as bright red, hunter green, brown, purple and black.

Unlike many manufacturing companies, we do not oursource our labor. Our organic cotton tote bags are manufactured by skilled local craftspeople in tax-free Bedford, New Hampshire. We belong to the Fair Labor Association, an organization that monitors fair labor practices both in the U.S. and around the globe, and are committed to following its guidelines. We've been in business making and selling environmentally friendly promotional tote bags since 1990, and many of our loyal stitchers have been with us since the beginning
